Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and financial discrepancies
- Collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
- Help streamline accounting procedures and improve system efficiencies
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of accounting experience (construction or materials industry experience is a plus)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
