Position Overview
We’re looking for a warm, hands-on Assistant Coordinator who enjoys working with children and supporting creative, play-based learning. This role involves assisting with workshops, birthday parties, and studio activities while helping children explore art, design, science, and invention through open-ended experiences. You’ll also support material preparation, organization, and smooth daily operations to ensure every child feels engaged and supported.

Key Responsibilities
Creative Support

Assist with workshops, birthday parties, and creative activities

Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking

Support children during hands-on exploration and problem-solving

Suggest engaging ways for children to explore studio spaces and activities
Studio & Materials Management
-
Help prepare, organize, and clean workstations and materials
-
Maintain tools and supplies in a clean and safe manner

Prepare sensory trays and themed materials as required
Child Engagement & Wellbeing

Build positive relationships with children and families

Support cooperation, inclusion, and confidence-building

Monitor children’s wellbeing and communicate concerns when needed

Encourage reflection through open-ended conversations
Team Collaboration

Work closely with the team to support daily activities

Contribute ideas to enhance studio experiences and culture
Qualifications

Creative or artistic skills are a strong advantage

Experience working with children in educational, creative, or camp settings
