Job Title: Assistant Cost Controller – Hospitality

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Cost Controller to support cost control, inventory management, and basic procurement functions within our hospitality operations. The ideal candidate will help monitor food and beverage costs, manage stock levels, and coordinate purchasing activities to ensure operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Control & Inventory:
- Monitor food and beverage cost percentages
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliation
- Verify GRNs, invoices, and delivery notes
- Track daily consumption vs. sales reports
- Assist in monthly stock audits and variance analysis
- Ensure proper implementation of FIFO and stock rotation procedures
- Identify wastage, pilferage, and cost variances
- Assist in preparing and issuing purchase orders
- Coordinate with suppliers for pricing, delivery, and quality control
- Compare supplier quotations and negotiate basic pricing
- Monitor stock levels and initiate timely reordering
- Maintain supplier records and documentation
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in hospitality cost control, inventory, or procurement
- Experience in restaurant, hotel, or F&B operations preferred
- Strong understanding of food cost calculation and purchasing processes
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, reporting)
- Familiarity with POS and inventory management systems
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- High integrity and attention to detail
