Assistant Cost Controller (Hospitality)- Riyadh

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Cost Controller to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will assist in monitoring and analyzing costs, verifying transactions, managing inventory data, and supporting the Cost Controller in ensuring accurate costing and profitability reporting. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial accuracy and operational efficiency across all outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify inter- and intra-company transactions.
• Upload inventory data into the ERP system and generate consumption reports.
• Create stock and POS items.
• Conduct spot-check audits to ensure data accuracy.
• Review central kitchen (CK) recipe costing versus selling prices on a quarterly basis.
• Prepare menu engineering reports.
• Post inter- and intra-company transactions.
• Validate and approve LPOs (KSA).
• Handle monthly closing processes.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory variances.
• Generate accounting journal vouchers.
• Cost new recipes and update existing ones.
• Provide analytical and operational support to the Cost Controller.
• Assess recipe profitability on a quarterly basis.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial and operational reports as required.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (preferred).
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Saudi or GCC market (preferred).
• Bilingual (Arabic and English) (preferred).
