Assistant Counsel

Role Overview

We are seeking an Assistant Counsel with 3–5 years post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our Legal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating general commercial contracts.
• Providing legal support on matters related to:
• Procurement and supply chain agreements
• Marketing and advertising contracts
• Advising internal stakeholders on contractual risks and compliance.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified lawyer with 3–5 years PQE for a common law background.
• Ideally a mix of inhouse experience and private practice training.
• Strong experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
• Preferred exposure to franchise, procurement, supply chain, and marketing agreements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Having worked (or trained) in a major UK law firm is highly preferable.
