The Attorney will be responsible for assisting with the daily functions of the Criminal District Attorney including prosecuting and defending criminal and civil matters in various levels of trial and appellate courts, as well as administrative forums. Responsible for rigorous enforcement of laws in an ethical, honest, and just manner, handling matters of substantial complexity and gravity. Prepares and presents cases in court; investigates facts giving rise to legal issues, drafts written documents with significant legal implications; provides sound legal advice to individual or governmental clients. Exercises independent judgment under the general supervision of senior prosecutors while continuing to develop skills, knowledge, and expertise.

Salary: $86,429.98 - $119,925.26 annually

\While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent may be required to bend, hear, keyboard, sit, stand, talk, work alone and with others, and work overtime. Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
Decision Making:
This attorney exercises appropriate professional discretion and independence under the close supervision of more experienced attorneys. This position carries no policy making power.
