Position Overview
The Assistant Curriculum Developer supports the design, development, and implementation of curriculum and instructional materials. This role works under the supervision of senior curriculum developers / academic coordinators to ensure that learning content is engaging, age-appropriate, standards-compliant, and aligned with NEP 2020, NCF, and board requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and teaching aids aligned with predefined learning objectives.
- Ensure content is age-appropriate, interactive, experiential, and competency-driven.
- Support reviewing, editing, and updating existing lesson content to maintain relevance and quality.
- Collaborate with subject teachers, academic coordinators, and curriculum experts to standardize materials.
- Integrate digital resources and tools into lesson planning (e.g. slides, multimedia content, interactive tools).
- Help train teachers or staff on implementing new lesson plans / curriculum changes.
- Monitor feedback from teachers / students and support improving curriculum materials.
- Stay updated with education boards (CBSE / State), NCERT, NEP 2020, and NCF guideline changes to ensure compliance.
- Maintain records of lesson plan versions, curriculum documents, and resource materials.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or related field; higher degree (M.Ed) preferred.
- Some experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, or teaching (internship/fresher also acceptable with strong potential).
- Good knowledge of NEP 2020, NCF frameworks, and education standards.
- Strong English communication skills (written & verbal).
