About You
We are seeking to appoint an organised, detail-oriented
Assistant Data Manager
support the smooth and accurate management of student data across the academic year, supporting both daily operations and key SIMS routines. Working closely with the Data Manager and SIMs Officer, the Assistant Data Manager will assist in maintaining high-quality data standards, ensuring that student information is accurate, timely, and secure, contributing to the school’s strategic planning & compliance with data protection policies.
Key Responsibilities
MIS & Data Management:

Support the Data Manager in maintaining and improving data systems, dashboards, and databases.

Ensure data integrity across multiple platforms, including student information systems, assessment tools
-
Assist in the collection, cleaning, and validation of data for internal and external reporting.

Generate data reports, analytics summaries, and visualisations for school leadership and senior management.

Maintain and update student timetables.
-
Support in the creation of the new academic year and support end of year process.
-
Provide ad hoc MIS support and reports to staff and SLT.
-
Import external data including GL assessment into MIS (Currently SIMs).
-
Maintain and update the school's database system. (SIMS, GL Assessment)

Support the implementation of data-related policies, procedures, and best practices.

Liaise with IT teams to ensure smooth data integration and system updates.

Provide end-user support and basic training for staff in data entry, reporting, and usage.
Assessment And Reporting

Organising the collection of internal and external assessment data through the creation of SIMS marksheets, grades set, aspects.

Design and check report templates.

Monitor deadlines for data returns.

Produce accurate and timely school report cards for parents.

Creating and managing PBI dashboards.
-
Support in the KHDA end-of-year assessment data upload.

Assist in preparing SEF/BSO/DSIB data reports, updating online portals.

Support in GCSE, A-Level and IB headlines and analysis in SIMS/PBI.
Essential
Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in data management, preferably in an educational or administrative setting.

Strong Excel and database management skills (experience with Power BI, SQL, or Google Data Studio is an advantage).

Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.

Excellent Excel skills.

Working knowledge of a school MIS (SIMS, iSams)

Familiarity with Power BI dashboards and data entry.
