Job Description Summary:
Aviagen Anadolu is seeking a motivated and qualified candidate for the position of Assistant Decontamination Facility Manager to be based at our Decontamination Facility in Ankara. Reporting to the Decontamination Facility Manager, this role will support the smooth execution of operational processes, contribute to the continuous improvement of procedures, and ensure uninterrupted workflow across the facility.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working actively in the field, take ownership of specific operational areas when required, and play a key role in coordinating daily activities of the operations team.
Job Description:

Support the Decontamination Facility Manager in the execution of daily and weekly processes.

Monitor the implementation of biosecurity rules and report any non-compliances.

Oversee adherence to SOPs and ensure smooth operational flow in the field.

Contribute to feed stock tracking, ordering processes, and feed intake controls.

Monitor recontamination risks in storage, shipment, and unloading processes.

Assist with post-process cleaning and sample collection procedures.

Support the creation and maintenance of stock, process, and production records.

Conduct initial evaluations of laboratory results and communicate findings to management.

Assist in the preparation of weekly reports.

Contribute to daily work planning and coordination with blue-collar teams.

Support employee experience related tasks such as onboarding, offboarding, development initiatives and monthly operational transactions like overtime notifications.

Support unit’s budget preparation

Assist in ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety rules.

Support the monitoring of facility maintenance programs.

Take responsibility for designated tasks during the manager’s absence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Agricultural Engineering (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in operations, production, or technical processes.
- Strong inclination toward disciplined fieldwork.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic operational software such as Netsis.
- Strong follow-up skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
- Knowledge of biosecurity, process management, or feed operations is an advantage.
- Advanced English proficiency is a strong plus.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with the team and other internal teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
