Description
- Report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
- Responsible for overseeing all finance, accounting, payables/receivables/fixed assets, cash flows, financial systems, and MIS activities.
- Role will partner with the CFO, Senior Leadership, HR, Admin. and IT staff to enhance and better integrate multi-departmental functions.
- Managing a team of 12-15 resources

Finance & Core Accounting:
- Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards (Ind-AS) and regulatory requirements
- Manage & lead all day-to-day finance, month-end, year-end & accounting operations
- Coordinating all internal & external audit activities
- Fixed assets accounting & physical assets verification.
- Supporting the CFO in various management presentations

Budgeting & MIS:
- Review of monthly MIS reports & presentation to top management
- Assisting leadership in the annual budgeting and planning process; administering and reviewing all financial plans and comparing them to actual results with a view to identifying, explaining, and correcting variances as appropriate.
- Capital budgeting

Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Managing the Accounts payable operations, vendor payments, employee expenses & vendor co-ordinations & negotiations.
- Managing the Accounts receivable activities, interacting with clients & customer relationship management.
- Follow-up with clients for collections.
- Be the authorized signatory & a cash custodian.

Internal Controls & Financial Software:
- Maintaining internal control & time-to-time review of internal control processes & SOPs and updating them to meet with the latest business complexities & ensure safeguarding assets of the company
- Lead in new finance related software implementation, support, SOPs, developments.

Cash Flow & Funding:
- Managing the cash flow and investments in short-term opportunities.
- Leveraging strengths of the finance team members; providing clarity on the roles and responsibilities; developing and implementing training programs to maximize and help them reach optimal
- individual and organizational goals.
- Providing leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; creating and promoting a positive and supportive work environment
- Co-ordinate for tax compliances and align with tax department to have smooth compliance needs for the organization.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with minimum 10-12 years’ of post qualification experience
- Experience within the Engineering and Construction industry preferred
- Solid experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and accounting for investments
- Excellent communication skills required to work effectively with India and US leadership
- Ability to prove the Mac-Culture principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle/SAP/QuickBooks)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and a strong knowledge of other Microsoft Office programs
- Proven history of organization, attention to detail and ability to respond promptly to requests, anticipate organizational needs and maintain efficient team operations
- Commitment to recruiting, mentoring, training, and retaining a diverse team, with a foresight and ability to delegate accordingly
- Preferred experience working with multinational organizations and keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation versus simple reporting
- Experience in leading and coaching a team and working closely with the Organization’s Leadership/Executive teams is essential.
