
Core Responsibilities:

Assists the Design Manager in engaging consultants to produce initial construction documentation, conceptual framework, and design briefs.

Coordinates all design disciplines, including Architecture, Structure, MEP, Landscape, Interior Design, and specialist consultants.

Manages day-to-day technical coordination with all design consultants.

Reviews design submissions to ensure coordination, quality, and compliance prior to management approval.

Leads design coordination meetings and monitor the closure of actions and resolutions.

Tracks design program milestones and proactively identify risks to schedules or approvals.

Supports authority submission processes and coordinate responses to authority comments and requirements.

Identifies design changes that may impact cost, scope, or program, and support value engineering initiatives.

Maintains and update design issue logs, change registers, and progress reports.

Issues consolidated technical comments to design consultants.
-
Chair coordination meetings on behalf of the Design Manager when required.

Escalates significant technical, program, or compliance risks to management for timely decision-making.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering/Architecture or a related field
-
English is essential, Arabic is an added advantage
-
15 years of post-qualification experience in multi-disciplinary design coordination, ideally with a developer (client-side)
