Assistant Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Assistant Designer to join our custom cabinet team. In this energetic role, you will collaborate closely with our lead designer to bring fresh ideas to life, support the entire product lifecycle. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and have the ability to turn this job into a full time position as Lead Designer.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing cabinet layouts with great detail to send off for production and install.
• Support the creation of technical cabinet drawings through Chief Architect Software.
• Collaborate to create functional and we designs spaces.
• Aid in managing product lifecycle stages from initial sketches through final production
• Maintain organized design archives, mood boards, and technical files for seamless project flow
• Create Project Estimates that reflect our pricing standards.

Skills

• Experience with CAD software such as Chief Architect is preferred
• Strong understanding of kitchen and bathroom design and function
• Knowledge of cabinet construction is desirable.
• Familiarity with Kitchen and Bath Design trends
• Ability to apply color theory effectively in design projects
• Excellent illustration skills with an eye for detail and creativity
• Experience or interest in learning Quickbooks Online is a plus but not required

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
