We’re seeking an Assistant Designer - Interiors to join our project team for the design of a confidential integrated resort—a landmark destination envisioned to redefine the relationship between architecture, landscape, and experience.
Spanning over one million square feet, the project will blend casino, food and beverage, and hotel environments with over 75,000 square feet of special venue space, including an award-winning steakhouse, a rooftop bar, a collection of one-of-a-kind lounges and entertainment venues, and a world-class spa.
The resort will also feature a championship golf course that connects the built environment to its natural setting in a seamless and dramatic way.
The guest tower celebrates 500 guest rooms, culminating in a range of scale and luxury experiences, highlighted by the sky suites, offering panoramic views and elevated private experiences. This project embodies the ambition to create a destination that is immersive, contemporary, and unforgettable in every detail.
The Design Assistant will work with project teams by supporting the project and client delivery process. This includes creating graphics, assembling presentations and 3D modeling.
Support Design Directors and Project Architects with the design and delivery of projects
Work with design teams to prepare client presentations
Assist with 3D modeling and other responsibilities as needed
Perform interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation
Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting
Assist on generating finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction
Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts
1-2 years of interior design experience
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D, Rhino, Octane, Grasshopper, and/or other modeling software programs
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas
Proficient in Adobe Suite, especially Photoshop and InDesign
Must be a team player
Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment
Ability to step in to assist where needed
Ability to take initiative and be proactive vs. reactive
**The base salary will be estimated between $75,000 - $85,000
