Immediate need for a Assistant Director, part-time position, optional full-time if willing to float part-time.

Career Advancement Potential with rapidly growing childcare center

• Assistant Director is 21 years of age or older and provides the licensee with documentation of the following:
• 24 months of child care experience and
• A high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma
• OR
• At least six credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood, child development, or a closely-related field;
• A high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma;
• 1 year of child care experience

OR

• Associate or bachelor degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood, child development, or a closely-related field

OR

• C.D.A., or C.C.P.
• Or A Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education highly preferred

OR

• 24 months of childcare experience
• A high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma;
• and
• 30-60 hours actual instruction, provided in conferences, seminars, lectures, or workshops in the area of program administration, planning, development or management

Preferred Experience with Head Start-no required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour
