Position Summary:
Aviata Health Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for quality, compliance, and team development in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of the Nursing Department

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations

• Support staff development, training, and performance management

• Monitor patient care to ensure quality standards are consistently met

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes

• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs

• Step in for the Director of Nursing as needed

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

• Minimum of 2–3 years of nursing leadership experience (preferred)

• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings

• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment
