Assistant Director - Revenue Cycle Management (Psychiatric, Wound Care, OR Internal Medicine)

Job Summary:

PsychPlus is hiring a hands-on RCM leader to own end-to-end behavioral health billing operations. You will manage daily revenue cycle performance across claims, denials, AR, and payer workflows. You will lead billing teams, improve collections, and drive measurable outcomes across the full claim lifecycle.

This role focuses on execution. You will work closely with operations, clinical, and finance teams to improve clean claim rates, reduce denials, and accelerate cash collections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the full claims lifecycle, charge entry, submission, rejection handling, AR follow-up, and collections
  • Lead billing, coding, AR, and eligibility teams with clear performance targets
  • Reduce denial rates by identifying top denial categories and implementing corrective actions
  • Improve key metrics, clean claim rate, AR days, net collection rate, and first pass resolution
  • Manage payer portals and clearinghouse workflows, including resubmissions and appeals
  • Oversee behavioral health billing workflows, including psychiatry, telehealth, TMS, and Spravato
  • Ensure accuracy in eligibility and VOB to reduce downstream billing issues
  • Build and track KPIs and dashboards for operational visibility
  • Partner with internal teams to align front-end and back-end processes
  • Maintain compliance with US payer guidelines, CMS requirements, and billing standards
  • Support audits and continuous process improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 8 to 12 years of US healthcare RCM experience
  • 3 to 5 years of direct team management experience in billing or AR functions
  • Proven experience in behavioral or mental health billing
  • Strong working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, modifiers, and payer requirements
  • Hands-on experience with claims processing, denials management, and AR follow-up
  • Experience with EHR and RCM systems such as Athenahealth, Kareo, or AdvancedMD
  • Experience managing remote or distributed teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in multi-state or high-growth healthcare organizations
  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer mix in behavioral health
  • Certifications such as CPC, CRCR, or HFMA

Pay: Rs250,000.00 - Rs400,000.00 per month
