Job Title: Content Lead/Assistant Editor (Digital and Multimedia)

Position Summary:

The Content Lead/Assistant Editor (Digital and Multimedia) will support the Editor in overseeing daily editorial operations and ensuring high quality digital content for No Noise Stories.

This role requires strong editorial judgment, a solid understanding of multimedia storytelling and the ability to manage cross functional teams to deliver accurate, engaging and visually coherent stories.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Editor in planning, coordinating and managing the daily editorial workflow.

2. Review, edit and refine scripts and story drafts to maintain clarity, accuracy and consistency with the No Noise editorial standards.

3. Work collaboratively with reporters, video producers, video editors and graphic designers to create well structured multimedia content.

4. Identify relevant topics, monitor trends and propose story ideas that provide fresh value and align with the platform’s editorial vision.

5. Support the development and maintenance of the weekly editorial calendar and ensure timely execution of assigned projects.

6. Conduct quality checks on videos, explainers and other digital assets before publication.

7. Provide guidance and feedback to junior team members to enhance their editorial and storytelling capabilities.

8. Coordinate with the social media team to ensure smooth publishing and platform specific optimisation of content.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Minimum 7 to 8 years of experience in digital media or journalism, including hands on exposure to video content, digital storytelling and newsroom operations.

2. Experience working within a digital first newsroom environment will be preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,305.91 - ₹53,470.17 per month
