Assistant Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

Compass Training & Consultancy is seeking a qualified Assistant Electrical Engineer for one our client Organization in the Tableware & Glass Manufacturing Industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems to ensure smooth plant operations and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, panels, motors, PLCs, and control systems.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply and efficient functioning of production machinery.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective repair solutions.
• Monitor energy consumption and recommend energy-efficient improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize operational downtime.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance logs, reports, and system upgrades.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing industry (glass or heavy industry preferred).
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, and industrial control systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults independently.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in glass or ceramic manufacturing plant.
• Knowledge of industrial automation systems.
