Assistant Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Engineer – Electrical to support the operation, maintenance, and supervision of electrical systems in facility operations. The role involves leading technicians, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth daily operations in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise technicians to ensure equipment runs smoothly as per standards
• Monitor daily operations and maintain accurate records
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and identify root causes
• Coordinate with contractors for maintenance and repairs
• Raise service orders when contractor support is required
• Respond to emergency situations when needed
• Record system failures and prepare incident reports
• Review technician reports and take corrective actions
• Escalate major issues to senior management
• Train technicians on equipment, CAFM, and procedures
• Monitor attendance and overtime records
• Ensure safe working practices at all times
• Support KPIs and operational performance targets

Requirements

• Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or any related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting electrical systems
• Ability to lead a team and work independently
• Good English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Ability to manage subcontractors from different nationalities
• Strong ability to work under pressure and multitask
• Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)

Pay: From QAR1.00 per month
