Assistant Elevator Installer (Zagreb, Croatia)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Installation: Help move, hoist, and assemble elevator components like cars, doors, motors, and control systems.
• Hand Tools & Equipment: Use hand and power tools for disassembly, assembly, and repair; operate hoists, dollies, and rollers.
• Electrical Support: Connect electrical wiring, assist with testing using devices like ammeters and voltmeters, and help troubleshoot control systems.
• Maintenance: Clean, lubricate (oil/grease), and inspect equipment as directed.
• Safety & Compliance: Learn and follow strict safety regulations, building codes, and company procedures.
• Site Support: Load/unload tools, maintain a tidy workspace, and read blueprints/schematics.
• Learning: Gain knowledge of elevator systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques through on-the-job training.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in electronics.
• Comfortable working with heights, on construction sites, and with heavy machinery.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments.
• Strong desire to learn, follow instructions, and work as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles and schematics.
