Lead Elevator Installer (Zagreb, Croatia)

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior installers and apprentices, assigning tasks, and ensuring quality work.
• Technical Expertise: Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of complex elevator systems, demonstrating deep knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and structural components.
• Project Management: Plan project schedules, conduct site assessments, review blueprints, and interface with project managers and contractors.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce all safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve significant on-site challenges and complex technical issues independently.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Extensive experience as an elevator mechanic/installer.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent decision-making, judgment, and complex problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, testing devices (ammeters, voltmeters).
• Leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
• A strong commitment to safety.
