Assistant Engineer Mechanical Maintenance

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth operation of galvanizing plants and related facilities through effective maintenance control.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and resolve operational complaints promptly.
• Conduct inspections of mechanical systems and identify repair or maintenance needs.
• Reduce plant downtime through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and inspection records.
• Coordinate with procurement and store departments for spare parts availability.
• Monitor and control hydraulic oil, air, and gas leakages in the plant.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PTW, LOTO, and PPE standards.
• Prepare daily shift reports and monthly performance reports.
• Conduct toolbox talks and support workforce training initiatives
• Requirement's
• Qualification: DAE in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 5–8 years of relevant mechanical maintenance experience
• Technical Skills:
• Mechanical maintenance systems
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Maintenance planning and troubleshooting
• EAM / Oracle systems (preferred)
• Team management
