Job Title: Assistant Engineer (Production)

About the Role:
Light Source is seeking an Assistant Engineer (Production) to support daily operations in the manufacturing of lithium-ion batteries, electric stoves, and inverters. The role involves supervising workers, assisting with production planning, maintaining process discipline, and ensuring smooth workflow on assembly lines.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in daily production planning and execution.

· Supervise DAE and skilled workers on the shop floor.

· Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety rules, and quality standards.

· Support worker training on assembly processes and tools.

· Monitor production output and report issues to the Production Manager.

· Assist in line balancing and manpower allocation.

· Identify minor process issues and suggest improvements.

· Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team.

· Maintain basic production records and reports.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (BE).

· 1–1.5 years of experience in a manufacturing/assembling environment.

· Experience in electronics, battery, mobile phone, or appliance assembly is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

· Basic understanding of production processes.

· Ability to manage workers and floor activities.

· Basic reporting and documentation skills.

· Problem-solving mindset.

· Willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs55,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
