- Prepare BOQ take-offs and rate build-ups (materials, labor, machine time, wastage, overheads, margin).
- Develop cutting lists/material summaries for engineering validation.
- Request and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations (timber, MDF, plywood, veneer/laminate, hardware, finishes, glazing, upholstery, metal inserts, edge-banding).
- Maintain a cost database: standard assemblies, productivity norms, loss factors, historical actuals vs estimates.
- Assist in bid documentation: compliance checklists, technical clarifications, exclusions/assumptions, project program inputs.
- Support value engineering (alternate materials/finishes, joinery detailing optimizations, nesting improvements).
- Coordinate with Design & Production for feasibility, joinery details, and manufacturing methods (CNC, edge-banding, pressing, polishing/painting).
- Prepare estimation packs for management review.
B. Document Control
