About the Role

Amish Country Lodging is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Executive Housekeeper to help maintain the cleanliness and readiness of our cabins and lodging properties.

This role works directly with the Executive Housekeeper to ensure each property is fully prepared for guests, well-stocked, and maintained to high hospitality standards.

The ideal candidate enjoys staying organized, takes pride in quality work, and is comfortable working both independently and alongside a team.

What You'll Do

Ensure Guest-Ready Cabins

• Inspect cabins prior to guest arrival to ensure cleanliness and readiness
• Perform quality checks after cleaning
• Address any issues that affect guest experience

Support Housekeeping Operations

• Clean cabins or assist housekeeping staff when needed
• Deliver guest items such as towels or amenities
• Maintain guest-use items and equipment
• Light fireplaces prior to guest arrival during seasonal months

Inventory & Organization

• Track and manage housekeeping supplies
• Restock cabins and supply areas
• Order cleaning products and essentials when needed
• Keep housekeeping storage areas organized and efficient

Preventative & Deep Cleaning

• Maintain deep-clean schedules for items such as:
• Jacuzzi jets
• High ceilings and upper windows
• Vacuum filters
• Carpets and kitchen inventories

Team Support

• Assist with training new housekeeping team members
• Help maintain quality standards across all properties
• Report maintenance issues promptly
• Support coordination between housekeeping, maintenance, and management

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience required (hospitality preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working across multiple cabin locations
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical work including bending, reaching, and standing

Schedule

Full-time position. Schedule may include weekends and holidays based on guest bookings.
