Relocated to our headquarters in the Maltese Islands, Europe, this Executive Housekeeper role owns the standard of cleanliness, presentation, and housekeeping operations across the Zzzing portfolio. They lead and support housekeeping teams and partners to deliver consistently high standards.

Role overview

Based in the Maltese islands, Europe, our Executive Housekeeper will oversee and coordinate all housekeeping standards and routines across our properties. They will ensure that cleaning schedules, checklists, and quality controls are followed, and that every room, common area, and back‑of‑house space meets Zzzing’s expectations for cleanliness, comfort, and presentation. Working closely with Operations, Guest Experience, and external housekeeping partners, they will balance quality, efficiency, and cost while supporting teams to do their best work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee housekeeping operations across all assigned properties, ensuring rooms and public areas are cleaned, prepared, and presented to Zzzing standards.
• Maintain, update, and enforce housekeeping checklists, routines, and standards for arrivals, stayovers, departures, and deep cleans.
• Plan and supervise daily and weekly housekeeping schedules, allocating work across in‑house staff and external partners to meet occupancy and turnaround needs.
• Conduct regular property and room inspections, identifying issues, coaching teams, and following up on corrective actions.
• Work closely with Maintenance to report and track defects, damage, and repair needs identified during housekeeping rounds.
• Manage linen, amenities, and cleaning supply inventory, ensuring availability, proper usage, and cost control.
• Train, coach, and support housekeeping staff and partners on standards, procedures, safety, and efficient ways of working.
• Support the implementation of Zzzing’s Guest Experience and Processes playbooks within housekeeping, ensuring alignment with wider operations.
• Monitor housekeeping‑related guest feedback and collaborate with relevant teams to address recurring issues and improve quality.

Ideal profile

• At least 3 years of direct responsibility for housekeeping operations or supervision in high‑end or five‑star environments.

Proven track record leading housekeeping or cleaning teams in hotels, serviced apartments, short‑term rentals, or similar properties, with clear ownership of cleaning standards and room readiness.
Strong eye for detail and quality, with uncompromising personal standards for cleanliness, presentation, and adherence to agreed SOPs and checklists.
Organized and reliable, able to plan and adjust housekeeping schedules, prioritise tasks, and keep multiple properties and teams on track during peak periods.
Confident communicator who can clearly explain, train, and reinforce housekeeping SOPs, cleaning protocols, and brand standards with staff and partners.
Comfortable working with basic digital tools (PMS/OPS systems, checklist apps, messaging platforms) to receive tasks, follow SOPs, document inspections, and report issues.
Calm and solution‑oriented, especially on busy changeover days or when last‑minute changes or quality issues arise, with a focus on protecting guest‑ready standards.

Pay: AED170,000.00 - AED225,000.00 per year
