Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily housekeeping operations, including supervising cleaning staff and coordinating tasks to ensure timely completion of duties.
• Oversee cleaning procedures across guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and special facilities, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Implement and monitor floor care routines, including carpet cleaning, polishing, and maintenance of hard flooring surfaces.
• Conduct inspections to verify cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations; address any deficiencies promptly.
• Train and support housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
• Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; coordinate with vendors for procurement when necessary.
• Promote a positive team environment by motivating staff, recognizing achievements, and encouraging professional development.

Experience

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with a strong background in janitorial or industrial cleaning.
• Prior experience managing or supervising housekeeping teams within a hospitality setting is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet extraction, and use of industrial cleaning equipment.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and best practices for maintaining cleanliness and safety.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
