SALARY: The salary range for this position is $91,727.00 to $147,388.89. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.

The Morris/Sussex Vicinage seeks a motivated, self-directed leader with strong interpersonal skills who will assist the Court Executive 2B, Family Division Manager with the administration and management of daily operations in the Family Court of Morris County. The selected candidate will offer creative ideas/solutions with regard to conflict management and will demonstrate strong technical competence. The Assistant Family Division Manager will assist in the management of teams of professionals handling divorce, child support, domestic violence, abuse and neglect, and juvenile delinquency cases. The successful candidate will analyze division statistics; evaluate the needs of the division and develop/revise manuals to include relevant policies and procedures to meet those needs; assist with grant writing and budget administration; facilitate unique customer service strategies to improve existing services and to motivate staff to meet and exceed customer service goals; assist with all personnel issues including recruitment, discipline, performance appraisals and career progression; serve on statewide committees; and perform related duties as required.
Although this position is based at the Morris County Superior Courthouse (Morristown, NJ) travel to the Sussex County Judicial Center (Newton, NJ) and other judiciary locations may be required.
REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings.
