Based in the Downtown Los Angeles Fashion District, Ambiance Apparel is a leading manufacturer, importer and wholesaler of casual basic apparel for women & juniors. Founded in 1999, Ambiance Apparel has been catering to the fashion needs of retailers and wholesalers for over 20 years with quality products at affordable prices and high-volume availability of inventory.

Ambiance Apparel is seeking to hire a full-time on-site Fashion Assistant Designer.

Duties:

Assist with design and development of styles
Package tech packs
Assist with creating line sheets and look books
Responsible for coordinating and preparing samples and accessories for photoshoots
Resizing/manipulating photos for the company website
Stand in as a fit model for meetings (optional)
Coordinate and manage samples and transport them to meetings, photoshoots, showrooms, etc. as necessary

Qualifications:

Knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing process
Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office
Preferred to have a valid driver's license and own mode of transportation to attend photoshoots and transport samples
Candidate must have strong fashion sense and creativity
Must be fluent in English: Bilingual in Korean a major plus.
Minimum 1 year of design experience
