Assistant F&B Manager

Safir Doha Hotel is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the daily operations of our F&B outlets, including restaurant, café, banquet, and room service operations. The successful candidate will help ensure exceptional guest experiences, maintain service standards, and assist in driving revenue and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the F&B Manager in overseeing daily operations of all food and beverage outlets
  • Ensure excellent guest service and prompt resolution of complaints
  • Monitor service quality, cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards
  • Supervise and motivate F&B team members during shifts
  • Assist in staff scheduling, onboarding, and training
  • Monitor stock levels, inventory, and cost control measures
  • Coordinate with Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Sales departments
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and Qatar regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Minimum 4–6 years of F&B experience in hotel or upscale restaurant operations
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory / leadership role
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent English communication skills (Arabic is an advantage)
  • Good knowledge of POS systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP standards

Preferred Candidate

  • Experience in 4-star or 5-star hotel operations
  • Guest-focused with strong operational decision-making skills
  • Able to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
