Safir Doha Hotel is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the daily operations of our F&B outlets, including restaurant, café, banquet, and room service operations. The successful candidate will help ensure exceptional guest experiences, maintain service standards, and assist in driving revenue and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the F&B Manager in overseeing daily operations of all food and beverage outlets
- Ensure excellent guest service and prompt resolution of complaints
- Monitor service quality, cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards
- Supervise and motivate F&B team members during shifts
- Assist in staff scheduling, onboarding, and training
- Monitor stock levels, inventory, and cost control measures
- Coordinate with Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Sales departments
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and Qatar regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum 4–6 years of F&B experience in hotel or upscale restaurant operations
- At least 2 years in a supervisory / leadership role
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent English communication skills (Arabic is an advantage)
- Good knowledge of POS systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP standards
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in 4-star or 5-star hotel operations
- Guest-focused with strong operational decision-making skills
- Able to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
