Assistant Finance Manager

Position Overview: We are looking for a proactive Assistant Finance Manager with a strong background in startups to support our MD of Finance and Co-Founders. This role involves handling day-to-day financial tasks such as bookkeeping, invoicing, and payroll, while also assisting in strategic financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide critical support in financial decision-making processes and collaborate effectively with the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, forecasts, and budget reports.
  • Oversee cash flow management to maintain financial stability.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and handle tax-related activities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies.
  • Assist the head office team in Canada with ad-hoc financial analysis, investor reporting, and business case development.
  • Provide analytical support to assess ConsidraCare’s financial and business performance, helping to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in MBA, BBA, ACCA partly qualified, CA partly qualified, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a finance role, preferably in a startup environment.
  • Hands-on experience with bookkeeping, invoicing, and payroll. Familiarity with financial software (e.g., Quick Books, ADP) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
