Role Description

We are seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant to join our Finance Department in Maslak, Istanbul. This is a full-time, on-site role .

The Assistant Financial Accountant will support budgeting processes, salary administration, and daily financial operations. The role requires strong numerical skills, confidentiality, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and managing company budgets and forecasting
• Track departmental spending to ensure alignment with budget plans
• Maintain and monitor financial records related to budgeting and cost control
• Support payroll preparation, including updating salary records and verifying attendance and commissions
• Prepare monthly salary sheets for employees and ensure accuracy in payments
• Process employee reimbursements, allowances, and related financial transactions
• Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data for payroll
• Reconcile salary-related accounts and maintain organized documentation
• Assist in generating financial reports for management, including budget performance and cost analysis
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial regulations

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Fluency in Turkish
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong understanding of basic accounting and budgeting concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (knowledge of accounting/payroll software is an advantage)
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Fresh graduates are welcome; training will be provided
