This position supports the Fire Chief in the management and daily administration of the fire department, with direct oversight of Operations and Training, ensuring a high level of readiness, performance, and service delivery. The Assistant Chief plays a key leadership role in the development, implementation, and advancement of innovative and effective programs. This position helps shape departmental strategy and direction by identifying and achieving organizational, operational, training, and staffing objectives that are fiscally responsible and aligned with the department’s budgetary resources.
