Position Summary
The University of Missouri Department of Athletics is seeking an Assistant Football Dietitian to support its Football program. This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and delivery of evidence-based sports nutrition services to optimize the health, performance, recovery, and body composition of football student-athletes. This position works collaboratively with strength & conditioning, sports medicine, coaching staff, and performance personnel to support competitive excellence and athlete well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sports Nutrition Programming and Performance Support (30%)
2. Athlete Education and Wellness (25%)
3. Practice, Training Table, and Competition Support (20%)
3. Performance Collaboration and Risk Management (10%)
4. Administrative Duties and Documentation (10%)
5. Other Duties (5%)
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required.
Dietitian licensure from the Missouri Committee of Dietitians board.
Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
Preferred Qualifications: Prior dietitian experience in a NCAA Division I football program..
Salary Range: $54,000 - $64,000; commensurate with education and experience.
Grade: PAT-008
