Assistant General manager - Structures and Finishing

Experience: 20 Years to 25 Years

RCC/Shell & Core Structure experience Mandatory

Qualification

  • Construction Industry experience is mandatory .
  • Experience in High-Rise Building is mandatory.
  • GCC experience is preferable, not mandatory.


1. Project Management & Execution

  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple construction projects.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and subcontractors to resolve operational challenges.
  • Approve project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.

2. Operational Leadership

  • Assist GM in formulating and implementing strategic business plans.
  • Develop and enforce company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Support tendering, contract negotiation, and procurement processes.
  • Monitor productivity and efficiency across all active sites.

3. Financial & Resource Management

  • Review and approve project budgets, cost reports, and financial forecasts.
  • Optimize resource allocation (manpower, equipment, and materials) for maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure projects meet profitability targets.

4. Client & Stakeholder Relations

  • Serve as a key point of contact for major clients, consultants, and government authorities.
  • Address client concerns promptly to maintain satisfaction and trust.
  • Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and presentations.

5. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with local construction laws, building codes, and environmental regulations.
  • Oversee Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs on all projects.
  • Conduct periodic site inspections to enforce safety and quality standards.

6. Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and guide senior project staff, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and recommend training programs.
  • Support succession planning and leadership development.
