Assistant General Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our hospitality team at the Hampton Inn Redmond Bend Airport! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in guest relations and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role involves assisting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring front desk runs smoothly, and helping to elevate our services across the board. This role will also provide supplemental support to our sales team in a part-time capacity to help generate consistent revenue for the hotel. Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of daily operations - with additional emphasis on Guest Services - ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all departments and areas of the establishment to consistently meet brand standards.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to meet operational needs.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
  • Handle customer questions, inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Assist in creating promotional strategies to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal - with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or similar position is preferred.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing guest experiences.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
