About the Role

Imperial Limited is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Grower to support crop production activities within its modern hydroponic and controlled-environment agriculture (CEA) operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Grower to maintain optimal plant health, maximize productivity, and ensure consistent crop quality. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about agriculture, horticulture, and sustainable farming practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily management of crop growth, irrigation, nutrition, and environmental conditions.
  • Monitor plant health and identify signs of pests, diseases, nutrient deficiencies, or other crop-related issues.
  • Collect, maintain, and analyze crop performance data, including growth rates, yields, and quality indicators.
  • Support the management of climate control systems, including temperature, humidity, lighting, and ventilation.
  • Assist in implementing crop schedules, planting plans, pruning, harvesting, and other cultivation activities.
  • Maintain hygiene, biosecurity, and food safety standards throughout the facility.
  • Coordinate with farm workers to ensure timely completion of cultivation and maintenance tasks.
  • Prepare routine reports on crop performance and operational activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, efficiency, and crop quality.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety requirements, and agricultural best practices.

Hard Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, Plant Sciences, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in greenhouse, hydroponic, vertical farming, or commercial farming operations.

Nice to have:

  • Basic understanding of plant nutrition, irrigation systems, and crop management practices.
  • Ability to identify common plant health issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Strong observation, record-keeping, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with farm management software will be an advantage.
  • Willingness to work in a hands-on agricultural environment.

Pay: Up to Rs100,000.00 per month
