Assistant Housekeeping Manager

We are currently looking to fill our Assistant Housekeeping Manager position ASAP! This is a full-time position with tons of perks and benefits! We are seeking candidates who have a flexible schedule as work hours may vary.

Your job function will include, but is not limited to:

  • Ensure quality services are rendered in meeting guests’ needs.
  • Assist with daily room control functions coordinating with the Front Office, Reservations and Maintenance Departments on requirements.
  • Coordinate all Housekeeping projects with Housekeeping Manager.
  • Prepare weekly projects for Housekeeper II with the assistance of the housekeeping Working Supervisor.
  • Conduct employee briefings during the absence of the Housekeeping Manager.
  • May leave property to pick up supplies, deliver mail and drop off recyclables.
  • Inventory linen and supplies.
  • Purchase and order supplies.
  • Ensure that the SDS book is up to par and complete a periodic audit to ensure that all chemicals are up to date.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager.

Skills/Knowledge: Computer- Basic knowledge of Microsoft office programs.Must be able to communicate clearly. Must be able to conduct and develop training programs. Strong attention to detail is a must.

Physical Demands: Walking, standing, sitting, pushing, pulling, some lifting and carrying.
