Position :- Assistant Human Resources Manager

Location :- Abu Dhabi

Job Description :-The Assistant HR Manager supports the HR Manager in overseeing all human resource functions within the Food & Beverage (F&B) operations. This role focuses on high-volume recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations across restaurants, outlets, and hospitality units, ensuring smooth workforce management in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding (High-Volume Hiring)

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for restaurant staff (service crew, kitchen staff, supervisors, etc.)
  • Screen CVs, coordinate interviews, and liaise with outlet managers
  • Conduct onboarding, orientation, and documentation for new joiners
  • Maintain recruitment trackers and ensure timely hiring for operations

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
  • Maintain strong communication between management and outlet staff
  • Support employee engagement initiatives to reduce turnover

3. HR Operations & Administration

  • Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
  • Monitor attendance, duty rosters, leave, and staff movements
  • Coordinate internal transfers between outlets and locations

4. Performance Management

  • Assist in conducting performance reviews and probation evaluations
  • Track employee performance and provide feedback to management
  • Support training and development programs for staff

5. Compliance & Labor Law

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies
  • Assist with visa processing, medicals, and insurance coordination
  • Maintain updated HR policies aligned with legal requirements

6. Payroll & Benefits Coordination

  • Support payroll processing by verifying attendance and overtime
  • Manage staff benefits, accommodation, transportation, and leave records

7. Outlet Coordination

  • Work closely with Outlet Managers for manpower planning
  • Monitor staffing levels and ensure adequate coverage for operations
  • Support pre-opening recruitment and staffing for new outlets

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in F&B, hospitality.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of high-volume recruitment
  • Knowledge of labor laws (preferably UAE/GCC experience)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office
