Assistant Import Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quotations and sales orders using Oracle system
  • Issue and manage order confirmations
  • Coordinate with international suppliers regarding orders and production updates
  • Monitor and follow up on production timelines to ensure timely shipments
  • Handle import-related documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL, etc.)
  • Coordinate with banks for payment processing and import documentation
  • Assist in shipment tracking and clearing process with clearing agents
  • Manage delivery of goods to customers in a timely manner
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including stock handling and organization
  • Supervise and coordinate with office support staff (e.g., office boy, helpers)
  • Maintain proper record-keeping of all import and sales documents
  • Ensure smooth coordination between suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BBA, BCom, Supply Chain, or related field)
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel and computer systems
  • Willingness to learn and grow in import/export operations
  • Responsible, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks

Probation & Benefits

  • 3-month probation period
