Assistant Instructor - Automobile

The Hunar Foundation (THF) invites applications for the position of Assistant Instructor - Automobile at its Nokkundi (RDMC) Campus. The incumbent will be responsible for:

· Assist the Senior Automobile Instructor in conducting classroom and workshop sessions as per the agreed curriculum.

· Support students in practical exercises, including engine tuning, transmission systems, electrical diagnostics, and vehicle maintenance.

· Prepare, organize, and maintain training materials, tools, and equipment for sessions.

· Demonstrate correct use of automotive tools, instruments, and machinery under supervision.

· Provide guidance and individual attention to students to enhance their learning and confidence.

· Maintain workshop tools, machinery, and equipment in proper working condition.

· Ensure compliance with safety standards and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

· Keep an inventory of tools, training materials, and consumables.

· Assist in maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and discipline in the workshop area.

· Support in conducting student evaluations, assessments, and practical exams.

· Maintain attendance records, progress sheets, and documentation of training outcomes.

· Assist in preparing reports for academic review and audits.

· Collaborate with the Instructor, Principal, and Academic Coordinator for smooth course delivery.

· Participate in training and capacity-building sessions for professional growth.

· Support in organizing trade tests, exhibitions, or skill competitions.

· Facilitate industry visits or placement-related activities when required.

· Any other task assigned by the line manager

Requirements:

Candidates must possess 2–3 years of relevant experience in automobile maintenance, repair, or a training environment, along with familiarity with modern diagnostic equipment and methodologies. A DAE in Automobile, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Technology from a recognized institute is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a vocational or technical education institution.
