JOB PURPOSE:
The Assistant Instructor – IT will support the Instructor in delivering quality technical training in Information Technology, ensuring effective learning outcomes for students. The role involves assisting in classroom instruction, practical lab sessions, student assessments, and maintaining academic discipline in line with THF standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Instructor in delivering IT training sessions (theory and practical)
- Support students during lab work, exercises, and assignments
- Help preparing lesson plans, training material, and practical exercises
- Assist in student assessments, attendance, and progress tracking
- Maintain IT labs, systems, and training equipment in coordination with the institute team
- Ensure compliance with THF academic policies, discipline, and safety standards
- Provide mentoring and basic career guidance to students when required
- Support examinations, evaluations, and certification processes
- Perform any other academic or administrative tasks assigned by the Institute Manager or Instructor
- Any other task assigned by the line manager
Qualification and Requirements:
- DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineer) or Intermediate. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field will be preferred.

- Prior teaching or training experience will be an added advantage
