The Hunar Foundation (THF) invites applications for the position of Assistant Instructor – Welding at its Nokkundi (RDMC) Campus. The incumbent will be responsible for:
· To conduct or assist in practical and theoretical classes.
· Prepare and set up tools, materials, and equipment for training sessions.
· Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students during practice sessions.
· Demonstrate basic and advanced welding techniques under supervision.
· Monitor student progress and provide feedback for improvement.
· Maintain workshop tools, machinery, and equipment in safe working condition.
· Ensure compliance with safety standards and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
· Support in maintaining workshop cleanliness, organization, and inventory records.
· Report equipment faults or maintenance requirements promptly.
· To maintain attendance records, student performance logs, and assessment sheets.
· Help in preparing training reports, progress updates, and examination results as required.
· Ensure documentation aligns with THF’s training quality standards.
· Participate in internal training sessions to upgrade technical and instructional skills.
· Support in arranging skill competitions, practical exams, and industry visits.
· Any other task assigned by the line manager
Requirements:
Candidates should possess a DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) in Mechanical, Welding, Fabrication, or an equivalent trade certification from a recognized institution, together with at least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in welding and fabrication, preferably within an industrial or training environment. Prior experience in vocational education or teaching will be considered an asset.
