This position is responsible for retaining and expanding the key accounts portfolio in the Plasters Boards business in Bangalore. It supports the organization's mission by building long-term relationships, increasing customer engagement, expanding the customer base in new territories, and driving sustainable market share growth through project and specification sales.
About the Role
• Retain and grow market share in the Plasters Boards business in Bangalore.
• Ensure continuous customer engagement through promotional activities and loyalty programs.
• Expand customer base by identifying and onboarding new key accounts in emerging territories.
• Achieve sales and specification budgets through effective project pipeline management and forecasting.
• Ensure statutory compliance in daily business operations.
Responsibilities
Achieve Sales Target:

Drive project sales for the assigned territory.

Forecast sales, build project pipelines, and achieve sales and specification budgets.
Business Development:
-
Identify new conversion opportunities and convert them into revenue-generating business.
Key Account Management:

Manage select customer initiatives and technical engagements.

Ensure timely order extraction, delivery, and end-to-end execution.

Generate and drive specifications with Developers, Architects, PMCs, Clients, and Turnkey contractors across assigned and other territories.
Market Development Activities:

Identify and drive business development initiatives focused on new products, applications, and key account segments.
Market Intelligence:

Continuously gather insights on competitor activity, pricing, and market trends to inform strategic actions for market share improvement.
Qualifications:

Educational Qualification: BE (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical) or equivalent.

Preferred PG Qualification: MBA will be an advantage.
Experience: 4 to 8 years of experience in:

Sales and marketing of building material industry or related segments.

Handling key accounts, especially involving architects and project influencers.
