Job Summary Assistant Chef supports kitchen operations by preparing food maintaining hygiene and ensuring smooth daily service The role requires working in a fast paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency Key Responsibilities Assist in food preparation cutting chopping marinating cooking Prepare dishes according to recipes and quality standards Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene at all times Support head chef during busy service hours Ensure proper food storage labeling and stock rotation Monitor inventory and report shortages Operate kitchen equipment safely Assist in plating and presentation of dishes Follow UAE food safety and HACCP standards Help in opening and closing kitchen operations Coordinate with kitchen and service staff Requirements 1 to 2 years experience as Assistant Chef or Commis Chef Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards UAE preferred Ability to work under pressure in fast paced kitchens Teamwork and communication skills Flexible to work shifts weekends holidays Preferred Qualifications Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management Experience in restaurant hotel or catering Multi cuisine knowledge optional Key Skills Food preparation and knife skills Time management Attention to detail Hygiene discipline Ability to work in a team
