<Responsibilities>
- Assist in supervising all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards.
- Support inventory control efforts by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and coordinating with suppliers for timely replenishments.
- Oversee food safety and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Lead staff training and development initiatives, including onboarding new team members and providing ongoing coaching on food handling, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Manage shift responsibilities such as scheduling, cash handling with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, and ensuring smooth service flow during busy hours.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement budgeting strategies and cost control measures for food production and labor.
- Support the hiring process by participating in interviewing candidates and selecting qualified team members to strengthen our kitchen staff.
<Skills>
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising staff, training teams, and managing shifts effectively.
- Familiarity with inventory control practices, food safety standards, and sanitation protocols aligned with industry regulations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality setting while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
- Experience working in casual dining or fine dining establishments with a focus on customer service excellence.
