Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or a related field

Experience: 3 years of experience in a legal support role or similar capacity

Languages known: English, Kannada & Tulu compulsory. Hindi is also preferred

ROLES & RESPONSIBILTIES

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant to the Legal Advisor to support the legal functions of our infrastructure and hospitality business. The ideal candidate will assist in handling documentation, contract reviews, compliance tracking, and legal coordination across both sectors. This role requires familiarity with real estate, construction, hotel operations, and regulatory frameworks relevant to both industries.

Legal Documentation & Support

· Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts, lease agreements, MoUs, NDAs, licenses, and legal notices.

· Maintain systematic records of all legal and property-related documents for projects and hotel assets.

· Help track project approvals, land acquisition documents, and construction permits.

Compliance & Statutory Matters

· Monitor and update compliance requirements under labour laws, RERA, FSSAI, pollution control, and local municipal laws.

· Assist in applying for and renewing licenses for hotel and infrastructure projects (e.g., trade license, fire NOC, excise license).

· Support timely filing of statutory returns and legal disclosures.

Legal Coordination & Research

· Liaise with legal consultants, law firms, and government departments for ongoing matters.

· Conduct preliminary legal research on real estate, hospitality law, labour laws, and consumer protection regulations.

· Schedule legal meetings, prepare summaries, and follow up on legal actions.

Dispute Management

· Maintain database of ongoing litigation and arbitration matters.

· Assist in coordinating with advocates, collecting case-related documents, and preparing legal briefs.

· Support in responding to legal notices or compliance queries.

Preferred Attributes:

Strong communication and documentation skills

Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools

High integrity and ability to handle confidential information

Familiarity with RERA, FSSAI, Environmental clearances and licensing for hotels

Basic understanding of property law, contract law, hotel licenses and labour compliance

Prior experience in coordinating with government authorities or legal departments

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
