🔎 Role Overview

The Warehouse & Logistics Assistant Manager oversees end-to-end logistics operations, including import/export coordination, freight management, and customs compliance. The role collaborates closely with procurement, finance, warehouse, and approved logistics partners to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods (foreign and local).

Additionally, the role provides support in warehouse operations as needed to ensure continuity, efficiency, and safety across all material handling and inventory processes.

📘 Key Responsibilities

🚚 Logistics & Freight Coordination

• Coordinate with approved freight forwarding and logistics partners for import/export shipments (sea, air, local).
• Review and verify shipping instructions and documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, COO, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with UAE customs and port authority regulations.
• Collaborate with Procurement on shipment modes, timelines, and supplier readiness.
• Track inbound/outbound shipments and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Verify freight quotations, manage approvals, and monitor logistics costs.
• Oversee customs clearance, HS code accuracy, and declarations.
• Maintain shipment records and documentation.
• Coordinate with Finance for timely invoice processing.
• Handle and resolve shipment delays, damages, or discrepancies.

🏷️ Warehouse Support

• Support daily warehouse operations as needed, acting as Warehouse Assistant Manager.
• Supervise receiving, inspection, and GRN posting with the Inventory Control team.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, HSE, and company standards in all warehouse processes.
• Support stock level monitoring, cycle counts, and physical inventory checks.
• Assist with inter-park transfers, direct deliveries, and local logistics.
• Guide warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations during peak periods.

📊 Compliance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure full compliance with customs, trade regulations, and Miral policies.
• Prepare logistics performance reports (freight cost, lead times, clearance updates).
• Identify process improvement opportunities to optimize freight cost and warehouse efficiency.
• Support sustainability initiatives through shipment consolidation and eco-friendly practices.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• High school diploma or equivalent in Logistics.
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics and warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain planning, customs, freight management, and warehouse operations.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Desirable:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in a large-scale organization or theme park/hospitality sector.
• Knowledge of UAE customs regulations, HACCP standards, and warehouse inventory systems.
• ERP systems experience (Oracle Fusion, Maximo, etc.).
• Machinery handling experience (Forklift, Reach Truck, Pallet Jack).
• Strong personal qualities: integrity, credibility, dedication.
