Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to lead the operations and maintenance activities of our solar power plant. The role focuses on ensuring maximum plant availability, equipment reliability, and safe maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance for inverters, transformers, modules, switchgear, and electrical panels.
- Monitor equipment performance using SCADA and diagnostic tools.
- Identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to prevent breakdowns.
2. Breakdown & Corrective Maintenance
- Lead troubleshooting during equipment failures and ensure quick restoration of operations.
- Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for warranty claims and repairs.
3. Team Management
- Supervise maintenance technicians and field staff.
- Assign daily maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion.
- Provide training on equipment handling and safety procedures.
4. Plant Performance & Monitoring
- Track daily energy generation, PR (Performance Ratio), and CUF.
- Analyze performance deviations and implement improvement measures.
5. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure 100% compliance with electrical and site safety standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety drills, and toolbox talks.
6. Inventory & Spare Parts Management
- Maintain adequate stock of critical spare parts and tools.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for material availability.
7. Vendor & Contractor Management
- Monitor the performance of AMC contractors and service providers.
- Verify service reports and ensure high-quality repairs.
8. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, SOPs, and breakdown reports.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly O&M performance reports.
9. Project Support
- Support installation, upgradation, and commissioning activities of new equipment or plant expansions.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Solar O&M/Maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of inverters, transformers, SCADA, and solar modules.
- Good leadership and team-handling skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance tools.
- Experience in vendor and contractor management.
- Familiarity with safety standards (LOTO, electrical safety, etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management software.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
