Assistant Manager

Supports the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, staff coordination, and initiatives for on-street parking enforcement programs. Assists in ensuring compliance with local parking regulations, promoting the efficient use of public parking spaces, and helping Ambassadors deliver high-quality service. Maintains a working knowledge of parking codes and supports efforts to optimize parking policies, address community concerns, and ensure a fair and consistent enforcement process. Assists in collecting information on parking patterns, meter usage, neighborhood parking, and duration of stay. Contributes to creating a positive image by demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to excellent service.

  • Assist the General Manager with daily operations
  • Support enforcement efforts by monitoring staff coverage and ensuring adherence to regulations
  • Assist in handling escalated customer complaints and citation disputes
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees, guests, and community members
  • Help monitor staff performance and provide feedback under the direction of the Manager
  • Support training efforts for on-street staff regarding parking policies, violation codes, and citation processes
  • Assist with scheduling to ensure adequate coverage for enforcement and operations
  • Contribute to the development and updating of standard operating procedures
  • Assist with performance reviews and coaching to promote professionalism and productivity
  • Maintain effective communication with management, staff, vendors, and guests
  • Provide operational support to upper management as needed
  • Utilize Microsoft and Google applications for reporting, scheduling, and documentation
  • Research, analyze, and evaluate parking data to assist in decision-making
  • Help ensure facilities meet safety, security, and environmental standards
  • Assist in field operations during special events, peak seasons, or high-demand situations
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
